Local businesses are present in abundance and the whole town has a close knit community offering regular events in both the town hall and social club. The Clare country park is well used and also holds outdoor events during the summer.

We can access takeaway deliveries and have a Chinese and Indian takeaway across the road! The Indian is also an award winning restaurant. On a Tuesday a fish and chips van tours the town. The fish and chips are second to none!
