Room description

The property is located on Dalkeith Road - a popular student flat area right next to pollock halls. It is equal distance from both Kings Buildings and Main campus for Edinburgh University students. The flat has a bus stop outside the front door with busses leading to town, university, and shopping centres every 5 minutes. It is a 10 minute walk away from Cameron toll with Aldi and Sainsburys.

The room has a large amount of floor space and comes furnished with a desk, wardrobes, double bed, and chair. It is perfect for having guests over and has loads of natural sunlight. The flat also has a large living space with a communal living room featuring 2 sofas, a dining table, coffee table, drying racks, and a TV. There is a shared TV licence. The kitchen is located at the back of the flat and has all the necessities as well as a dish washer, washing machine, air fryer, and rice cooker.

The flat is currently occupied by 4 third year students at the University of Edinburgh who are looking for a polite and tidy flatmate who is also up for socialisation. I had to move out due to family and personal illness but my experience living in the flat was amazing. Some daily life activities include, joint studying in the evenings, tv watching, cooking together, arts and crafts, and nights out. Please no smoking in the flat but drinking is welcome. The flatmates would like someone who will make themselves at home and feel comfortable living with 4 girls.

The new tenant must be a student as the flat is currently exempt from tax and ideally within the age bracket of 18-24. The flat is available from now until August 2025 where one of the old tenants will be returning from a year abroad.
