Room description

I am looking for someone to take my room as a sublet in our beautiful Muswell Hill home from January to the end of April. That is, a 4 month sub let period with a flexible start and end time (by a couple weeks).

900 a month including bills (water, electricity/gas, council tax, and very fast 5G internet)

The light filled room measures 3.1m x 2.7m. It comes furnished with a king size bed, bed side table, and has a large built in wardrobe.

We have a spacious kitchen with all the utensils and cupboard space you could need + a lovely backyard + parking space on the street if you have a car. The master bedroom has an en suite, so you will share the shower with two other people. We also have another toilet downstairs.

We have storage closets upstairs and downstairs. There is also ample space in the attic should you need additional storage space. As well as this, the house has a cabin on the back of the property, of which we use as a studio. If you play instruments/DJ/produce you will be more than welcome to use the space and gear available.

The street is sweet, leafy and quiet, and house is about a 5 minute walk away from Muswell Hill playing fields. It is about a 20 min walk from Muswell Hill high street, which is busy enough to feel happening but chill enough to feel like a village away from the city. Muswell Hill has a bunch of great restaurants, boutiques, op shops and a great Everyman cinema. It also has a Puregym, Sainsbury’s, M&S Food, Waitrose and independent grocery stores.
Closer, there are also a few off license/grocery/pharmacies a ten-minute walk away. The beautiful Alexandra Palace park + Highgate Woods are short bus rides away.

The 234 bus stop (4 min walk) will take you to both Muswell Hill (5-10 min bus trip) + East Finchley station (15-20 min bus trip), and the 43 + 134 bus stop (10 min walk) goes to Highgate station (15-20 minute bus trip) on the Northern Line.

You will be living with Joe (software developer at Meta), Jamie (software developer also at Meta), and Katie (works in logistics). We are all in our early to mid 30s, generally very laid back, like keeping the place clean and tidy, love music and food and set up the projector downstairs for the occasional movie nights.
