Room description

Hey all,

My long-term lodger will be moving out soon, so the hunt to find a new housemate starts. The bedroom itself has a double bed, with a big wardrobe and a Glass desk, it has also just been recarpeted and will be repainted painted unless you have a particular colour and wish to do it yourself.

The size of the room is roughly 4 meters x 4.5meters

What’s included:

Electricity (within reason which is detailed in the lodger’s agreement), 1GIG Fibre, Netflix & Amazon TV in the living room, council tax, TV Licence, Insurance (your contents is not covered) and management charges.

The Flat itself:

The flat itself is situated on the top floor (4 floors) overlooking the Southside of Glasgow and has 3 bedrooms, there is a lift in the building but it’s no longer in use. The flat boasts a very large living room with a wraparound balcony, a big clutter-free kitchen and a family bathroom,

We have lazy spa on the balcony for all to use.

We like the flat to be kept clean and clutter free and must assist in the upkeep and cleaning of the flat on a weekly basis.

Living in the flat is myself, but I work away in London 95% of the time and Stephen, who is a good friend of mine.

The property has amazing transport links to all the motorways and trains. Pollokshields East is 5min away and 1 stop into Glasgow Central. If you decide to walk in, it's 20min into the city centre. We are also only 1 mile down the road from the new Barclays Headquarters complex situated on the waterfront down from Glasgow Central train station. We have a very active close social pals, we like Sunday lunches and having people over for dinner.

The kind of person I am looking for:

I am looking for a professional who is respectable, settled and LGBT+-friendly. We work Monday to Friday so someone with similar working patterns would be ideal. We have a close set of friends and enjoy cooking and love to entertain.

The deposit is one month’s rent and the monthly pay is due on the 1st of each month as that’s when all the bills come out. A lodger’s agreement will be issued to ensure everyone is on the same page and keep things fair, the minimum stay is 6 months.
