Room description
The room is rented through an agency with a standard application process. To move in, you'll need to pay the current month’s rent, plus the first and last month’s rent. Each at £1407. The contract change fee is included. After that, the rent is £1142 per month.
I’m looking for someone to take over my lovely room in a charming Victorian house, just a short distance from central London. The room itself is bright and spacious, thanks to two large windows that let in plenty of natural light. It comes fully furnished with two shelves, a chest of drawers, a bedside table, a double-seater sofa, two built-in wardrobes and a wall mirror. You'll be warm and cozy with central heating.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a big fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, oven, stove, and washing machine. There’s also a dining table with four chairs, and my housemates are happy to share some of their kitchen gadgets. Basics like cookware, plates, and cutlery are already provided, making it easy to settle in.
The location is fantastic – just a 30-minute walk to the London Eye and 40 minutes to Piccadilly Circus. The area has excellent transport links with buses, underground, and overground nearby. Plus, you'll find a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, and parks in the neighborhood. There's also some supermarkets at a walkable distance.
The housemates are friendly, respectful, and independent, aged between 24-26, with a mix of British, Chinese, and Indian nationalities. They tend to stay in their rooms or are often out, so the house is generally quiet.
